Subject: VATDRC - UN Special OPS MONUC Invitation

> Dear Gentlemen,
> we would like to invite your Virtual Airline to participate in the VATDRC's United Nations Special OPS MONUC on Sundays between 1700-2100Z at the FZZA (Kinshasa) FIR. In the real world a lot of Cargo/Charter Airlines are providing aircraft support to the UN Missions around the world and this is why our Operation MONUC it is not only open to Virtual Air Forces but also to any Virtual Airline that is interested in participating this particular event. The objectives of the mission are to deliver aid and carry VIPs between you preferred Airport Base inside the FZZA FIR and Kinshasa and Lubumbashi. Other objectives also include rescue and surveillance flights.
> The specs of the operation include that you must select an Air Base from the list on our web site, these are granted on a first come and first serve basis. Your Virtual Airline will also be allowed to provide ATC at these airports from Ground up to Approach allowing you to impose your own rules and procedures.
> All flights will be tracked and recorded and the points for completed missions will be credited to your Virtual Airline every week. Any aircraft types can be used and your Virtual Airline must use pre-assigned UNO flight codes depending on the base. This gives your Virtual Airline an opportunity to compete against others as a team.
> Although the event is called a Special Operation it does not fall under any terms and conditions of the VATSIM Special Ops and there is not a VATSIM Special Ops as defined by VATSIM, all airspace will be class E.
> For full details regarding this weekly event please visit our web site
www.vatdrc.com and click on the UN OPS banner. We suggest that you select your Air Base strategically and get familiar with it's location.
> In addition your VA's banner and a link to your web site will be made from our UN Special OPS Members page and the event will be advertised on the VATSIM Network. Please get back to me with the Air Base that you would like to be based at if you would your Virtual Airline to participate this weekly special event. Also, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask. We look forward to having you as a participating member!
